Travel this picturesque railroad on an authentic steam train while experiencing the charm of days past – right down to the wooden benches ! Drive from the house to Puget-Théniers takes approximate 1.5 hours (but calculate in extra time), where the steam train departs for Annot. In summer you can book this trip on sundays, and some of the fridays. Check website for detailed dates! In Annot Cafe du Commerce is a recommended lunch cafe in the middle of the old village, here is a link to the location of the cafe.
You need to book ahead from the website here. The train leaves Puget-Théniers train station at 10:55 a.m., stops in Entrevaux for photos, and arrives in Annot at 12:05 p.m. The train leaves Annot at 16:15 p.m. and arrives in Puget-Théniers at 17:00 p.m.
