Bargemon

Bargemon is full of old monuments that recall the history of the site in the Middle Ages. Squares, fountains, olive groves, or alleys where you can stroll, Bargemon has a wealth of tourist and historical attractions. Lovers of the authentic Provence will definitely be charmed by this village with typical architecture and a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Bargemon is the retirement home for many famous scientists, alchemists, poets and artists, and offers many different chapels to visit and its rich history to discover.
Strolling through the old village one is charmed by the narrow streets and the little village squares each boasting its own fountain with water as pure as can be found in France. The tourist office will organize visits ot the castle, the ramparts and the 12th and 16thc. doors. It is located only a half hour drive from the house in La Bouverie, and is very much worth a day trip!
