Only a short 10 minutes walk from the house, and you are walking amongst the magnificent wine ranks of this award winning estate. The wineyard is classic provencal but the magnificent rose and red wines are internationally recognized. Recently Domaine de Marchandise won a gold medal for their red wine.
Visit to the vinyard with wine tasting
It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk down to the vinyard, and below is an online map which you can access from any mobile phone. There is a small shop normally open all days from 09 – 12 a.m, and 14 – 19 p.m. Here you can taste some of the wines and buy the ones you like. If you visit the vinyard please notify the shop that you would like to walk around and the estate and have a look. They will normally allow this, but they like to keep track of who is visiting the property at any time. It is well worth the tour – look at the gallery below for images of the beautiful scenery.

The wines
The demand for wines from this estate is increasing, and some types of the wines may already start to sell out early in the autumn. Le Marchandise Rosé is created from a total of 7 different grapes, with a total of 85% from Grenache, Syrah, Tibouren and Mourvèdre. Le Marchandise Rouge is made from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre og Carignan, and it can be stored for up to 5 years.
