This driving route will take you to visit a pretty vinyard where you can taste and by wine, then you will drive the magnificent short route up to the canyon Gorges du Blavet view spectacular views. And a short 2 – 5 minute walk from the car you will find the most beautiful viewpoints where you can enjoy magnificent views of both the Canyon and the amazing Provencal landscapes. When this guide will take you up to the small village of Bagnols-en-foret, a classical Provencal village, and you can enjoy a glass of wine (or coffee) at the town village square….

| B | Winetasting | You start by driving only for 3 – 4 minutes. Then you reach the Vineyard Domaine de la Bouverie, where you may stop for winetasting, and maybe also buy a high quality bottle of wine from the vineyard onsite shop! This is high quality AOC wine at 8 Euro’s pr bottle! The local pride of the village, and you can often meet the owner at the local L’Actu Bar in the centre of La Bouverie. |
| C | Honeytasting | As an optional small detour, you may want to drive for 2 minutes to buy local honey directly from the beekeepers shop. You get all sorts of honey here. Our favorite is the white honey produced by bees from the lavender fields of Provence… More details click here. |
| B to E | Landscape | After you continue to drive up the mountainside of the Blavet, you can enjoy spectacular views both of the landscape and of the rock formations. The rocks here have an intense orange colour, and the rock formations are spectacular. At the top there is an official viewpoint where it is possible to park you car. |
| D | Official Viewpoint | Here you can park your car and enjoy spectacular views over the landscape. If you are able to walk for 5 minutes, you also can enjoy the hidden views of the Gorge itself (see map for details) |
| E | Hidden Viewpoints | These are two hidden gems. Park your car and walk to the edge of the Gorge du Blavet for great views. PS: No official trail exists – just walk to the edge. |
