Only 150 meters from the house you will find a very nice local Pizza take-away. They have some outdoor seating as well where you can enjoy a glass of rose-wine with your pizza, but we normally only use it for pizza take away. They open at 18:00 every day! L’Actu Bar and Restaurant
In the centre of La Bouverie in walking distance from the house you have a nice little cafe/restaurant/pub. Every day they serve a warm lunch meal from 12 – 14:30. They offer a different course every day, so remember to check the weekly meny when you walk past the cafe. In the evenings it is a regular pub and it has it’s own boule / petanque court, so one of our favorite activities before dinner is to enjoy a local glass of rose og red wine while playing a game of boules / petanque.
Cite d’Or (Asian buffet restaurant with take away option!)
10 minute drive from the house, this is our favorite restaurant and we often also use it for take away. It is a fixed priced luxury buffet restaurant. In addition to a long range of hot asian dishes, you also have a sushi bar, and several areas where you select your raw meat, raw fish, vegetables and sauces, and hand your plate over to the chef which will stir-fry your selections in 2-3 minutes while you are waiting. Dessert is also included with ‘eat-as much ice-cream as you want’ which is an absolute favourite with our children. The restaurant is also very cozy and friendly with nice seating areas. Please note that there are two seatings with different prices: lunch is from 12 – 14:30 (12.80 Euro), and dinner starts at 19:00 in the evening (17.80 Euro). Children eat at discounts (8 Euro from 3-5 years of age, and 11 Euro from 6 – 10 years).
We also often use this restaurant for take-away. At 19:00 in the evening, the designated driver of the household drivesto the restaurant and fills up a number of trays for 6 Euro each tray. We then organize our own luxury asian dinner at home out in the garden, supplied with local rose wine from the neighbouring vinyards.
The Carrefour supermarket in Puget-Sur-Argens have a sushi kiosk in the middle of the shop where professional sushi-chefs from ‘Daily Sushi’ create and package sushi all day:The prices are exceptionally low, and you can enjoy restaurant quality sushi at home at a fraction of the price you pay eating out.
Restaurant La Maurette
Located 10 minutes from the house, this is a very nice traditional french restaurant open both for lunch and dinner. The portions are XXL sized and their speciality is a monster sized burger with fries.
