Plage de la Garonette contains both public (free) parts and a private beach and restaurant where you can book sun beds at the beach. And the prices are not bad for the Riviera : A full day at the beach with sun chair and beach umbrella is 20 Euro. The private beach opens at 09:30. The easiest way to book is by using this Facebook link to write them a message. You can also call and book at this number +33 4 94 49 63 16. Most of their staff should understand some English, but knowledge of the French language is as always in France an advantage.
There is also a very good bar & restaurant, and it is possible to order food and beverages. Lunch is from 12 – 15. It is rated very high at Tripadvisor and the food is excellent. Why not try the returant quality hamburger for lunch? If you want a special day at the beach, book sun loungers and indulge in a bit of French Riviera luxury. Children are welcome both at the beach and at the restaurant.
