Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence, a city with a history of over 2000 years, is like a romance. The scent of lavender, Aix is an elegant and exciting city, dolled up the last detail. With its wide boulevards once frequented by counts and kings, a multitude of fountains, art museums, and charming cafes.

You can start walking on the beautiful boulevard Cours Mirabeau, enjoy a coffee at one of the beautifully arranged terraces, and afterwords maybe visit the Saint Sauveur Cathedral which combines three architectural styles: Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque.

The Mazarin district is like walking into the past. This is the most important place of reference and also the oldest district, where the architecture of the buildings are fully preserved. Aix is also the birthplace of the painter Paul Cezanne and it has a rich cultural life with a multitude of young artists showcasing their work.
